Juneteenth Celebration

Are you ready to be a part of something truly special this Juneteenth? Look no further than the Major Taylor Cycling Club's Juneteenth Community Bike Ride!
Join us on Saturday, June 10th for a 20-mile journey through the Lincoln District community where we will highlight the abundance of minority-owned businesses in the area. Don't worry if you can't manage the full 20 miles, we have a shorter, 10-mile family ride for you to join.
Our ride director, Liu, will lead you through the community, sharing interesting facts along the way. And, of course, there will be hydration and snacks available for everyone, and we'll even have a food truck on-hand: One Love, operated by the amazing Fulya.
It doesn't matter what your cycling abilities are or what type of bike you have, we want everyone to come out and celebrate Juneteenth with Major Taylor, your family, and your friends.
While the event is free, we do ask everyone to sign a waiver to participate in the community ride. So head on over to our eventbrite site to register.
We can't wait to see you all on Saturday, June 10th! Our community ride may not be the longest or fastest, but together we will celebrate freedom and community spirit in an event unlike any other!
