I had an amazing weekend with my MTCC cycling family at Seagull Century 2021. 100 miles with a group I am so proud to be a part of. We had over 40 representing Columbus that showed up and showed out. It was a beautiful thing to see so many black cyclist from all over the country come together for the love of cycling. A special shout out, love and appreciation for our 13 pak peloton (Steve J., Keith Kb3 Brown, Trent Blackwell, Anika Shabazz, Jamaal Shabazz, Lisa Fleurival, Cemerite Fleurival, Nicci Stevens, Tiffany Martin, Kenny Everson, Bambo Francis and Richard Simon.) The encouragement, inspiration and team work is what I will remember the most about this experience. We pushed, lifted each other, stayed together and finished together!
